Cattle Handling Equipment Loan Program
The Center for Beef Excellence maintains mobile cattle handling equipment available to Pennsylvania beef producers.

Producers can use the equipment free of charge. Users must pick up and return the equipment to its original location by the end of the allotted usage time.

A liability waiver must be signed and returned to the CBE office by all users before the equipment can be obtained.
The equipment must be washed after using and before it is returned.

Currently, two units are available in Pennsylvania. One is located in Southwest and one in the Eastern part of the state.
Each unit is portable and includes additional gates. A heavy duty truck is required to pull the unit and battery to lift unit to pull.

Cattle handling systems are available on a first come, first served basis and can be used for up to 21 days at a time.
