HARRISBURG (Apr. 12) – The PA Center for Beef Excellence (CBE) is seeking a responsible and self-motivated individual to fill the position of office assistant in the Harrisburg office.  The office assistant will work directly with the Executive Director of CBE.  A basic knowledge of the cattle industry is preferred. 

“The ideal candidate should be detail oriented and possess excellent communication skills,” said Ann Nogan, executive director of CBE. The preferred applicant should possess the following skills and knowledge: 

  • Ability to demonstrate strong office skills
  • High accuracy in work and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional attitude and demeanor
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Excellent grammar and writing skills
  • Excellent multi-tasking abilities
  • Ability to follow directions and also work independently
  • The ability to travel upon request
  • Familiarity with basic office equipment, procedures and protocol
  • Competent in MS Office products and proficient in email and internet applications
  • Competent in Excel
